IPriori is a leader in empirical research into patent and intellectual property litigation intelligence via the EPRIORI^® Knowledgebase.

An early version of the Knowledgebase was licensed to Stanford Law School's Intellectual Property Litigation Clearinghouse.

Intellectual Property Asset Management

IPriori advises corporations in the development, assessment and technology transfer of their IP portfolios — also known as "patent engineering." This includes serving as an external member of intellectual property review committees.

In this capacity, we evaluate research efforts to help identify, map, strategize and license technology as IP assets.

IPriori is a leader in assessing green/eco intellectual property and attendant issues. The EPRIORI^® Knowledgebase catalog of green/eco intellectual property serves as a foundation for research into emerging technologies and trends.

Stuart Soffer is a technical expert on Intellectual Property issues regarding software, the Internet and digital rights, and through IPriori, Inc., also consults on IP development, licensing and commercialization. 
 
In 2003 Stu began assembling a comprehensive database of IP litigation, noted as a basis for various studies.  Stu presents empirical research findings as an invited speaker, including presentations on Intellectual Property Aspects of Green/Eco Technologies.  
 
Since 2007 Stu is a Non-Resident Fellow at the Stanford Law School Center for Internet and Society, and  in 2009 was named as one of the IAM 250: The World's Leading IP Strategists.
